Words of Gratitude Upon Release
To all my fellow book lovers, greetings.
"The Divine Sword of Yuxu" is officially going live, and I am about to begin writing in earnest. I have thousands of things I want to say, but now that the time has come to speak with you all, I find myself at a loss for where to start, or perhaps, what is best to say.
One is always cautious about the people and things one cares about. I care deeply about all of you—your feelings, your thoughts, and your suggestions. Although I do not reply often, I read every word carefully and keep them in my heart.
Jianxin is, in truth, an introverted man of science and engineering, low-key to a fault. I am not accustomed to cracking jokes, nor do I like to follow the crowd; I prefer to simply be a quiet, handsome middle-aged man. (I’m covering my face in embarrassment here, haha.)
Time makes us old, and the ups and downs of life are but ripples in the current. Nearing forty, I have experienced my share of life’s highs and lows. Perhaps starting a writing career now is not the most prudent move. But everything has two sides: this may be the worst of times, with an intensely competitive market, yet it is also the best of times, for I now possess the richness of experience.
Enough, I shall stop acting like an old man. I am the forever-eighteen-year-old Jianxin—please allow me to indulge in this self-hypnosis, haha.
In the world of writing, I am a newcomer to you all, but I trust we will grow increasingly familiar with one another. I chose this path because I have always harbored a dream, and I intend to pursue it while I am still "eighteen," lest it be too late.
That dream, long hidden, is to reach "Gold." Yes, I have always aspired to go far on this journey as an author and become a platinum-level writer. Some may laugh at my audacity, but everyone has the right to their own dreams. Please, give me time and watch my transformation.
"The Divine Sword of Yuxu" is my debut work, and there are many imperfections within. Thank you for your tolerance. In truth, I approach every chapter with great seriousness, often revising several times. I had intended to update aggressively once the book went live, but you may find me still heavily editing the early, free chapters rather than updating the new VIP ones. It is not out of stubbornness; I simply cannot reconcile myself with updating just for the sake of it. The beginning dictates the end; I would rather have quality than quantity.
Although the results thus far are not as I had hoped, I believe that effort is success in itself, and the rewards will come sooner or later. It is this small conviction that keeps me persistent, polishing every word even when I am in a corner where no one can see.
Thank you for your patience in reading my ramblings and my inner monologue. There are no flowery phrases or sensational stories here, for I am only skilled at this kind of quiet heart-to-heart. But I can guarantee one thing: it is sincere.
I am grateful to those friends who support me in silence. Every "add to library," every recommendation, every click, and every word of encouragement is the greatest motivation for me to keep writing. Thank you, truly!
Li Sibai still has a magnificent life ahead of him. I invite you to experience it with me. We shall meet there!
"In this bizarre and kaleidoscopic world, no one can live their life as effortlessly as flowing clouds and water. Yet, I have always believed that after walking through the mist and rain of the lakes and crossing the mountains and rivers of time, those who have endured the trials and tasted the bitterness of life will become more vivid and pure. Time is forever a bystander; we must bear the process and the results ourselves."
By the way, don't forget to subscribe. Subscriptions and monthly tickets are your greatest support for me.
I wish you all happy reading, good health, and joy for your families.
With gratitude.
Life is but a few short decades. Do not leave yourself with regrets. Laugh when you want to laugh, cry when you want to cry. Love when it is time to love, and pursue your dreams without suppressing yourself.
Open your palms to the sky, and you will surely find sunlight within them. A note of self-encouragement from Jianxin.
