Wang Bing and Yan Jinchang each received a copy as well.

The more they read, the paler their faces became.

“This is truly unexpected—such a large sum has been embezzled…”

“Director Shu’s claims are all true. It’s shocking how much money has been misappropriated…”

“Tsk tsk, who would’ve thought! There were rumors that employees tried to bribe Minister Jin, but he never accepted anything.”

“You really can’t judge a book by its cover…”

“With this evidence, the three of them can already be sentenced—”

After everyone in the conference room finished reading the documents, hushed whispers broke out.

Wang Bing felt the gravity of the situation and quickly slipped his phone out from under the table, hastily composing a text message to beg his younger brother for help.

“Deputy General Manager Yan, do you have anything to say? Minister Jin, you and my uncle are from the same hometown. I never imagined you would do something like this,” Shu Manyun said, shaking her head with a sigh.

Yan Jinchang’s face darkened, filled with resentment.

Jin Zhao looked deeply ashamed, lowering his head and avoiding Shu Manyun’s gaze. Among the three, he appeared the most remorseful.

“Wang Bing, you were transferred here from headquarters. We knew each other there and were even friends. I valued your ability and trusted you when I took over the company, bringing you here because I had no trustworthy friends in this place during this critical time. I thought you would wholeheartedly support me. But instead, you exploited my trust, colluding with Yan Jinchang and Jin Zhao, embezzling company funds multiple times in just a few months. You have greatly disappointed me,” Shu Manyun said.

Wang Bing’s expression remained dark and unreadable. He said nothing, but the look in his eyes was anything but friendly.

“That’s enough. Save whatever you have to say for the courtroom!” Shu Manyun declared, then turned to Andy. “Have Ah Hui and Xiao Bao come in and take these three to the police station!”

Suddenly, Yan Jinchang sprang to his feet, hurling his phone at Andy before lunging at Shu Manyun.

With a sharp crack, the phone struck Andy’s forehead hard, blood instantly streaming down his face. Staggering back a few steps, Andy collapsed onto the floor.

“Andy!” Shu Manyun cried out in shock.

“Director Shu, watch out!” Su Xue shouted, hurriedly throwing documents at the enraged Yan Jinchang.

The flying papers obscured Yan Jinchang’s vision, allowing Shu Manyun to dodge.

Everyone present was stunned—none expected Yan Jinchang to lose control and attack Shu Manyun.

At that moment, the commotion inside the conference room had already alerted Hui and Xiao Bao, who had been stationed by the door. Without hesitation, they kicked the door open and rushed inside.

They arrived just in time to see Shu Manyun under attack and Andy bleeding profusely.

“Director Shu—”

“Stop!”

Hui and Xiao Bao shouted fiercely as they rushed forward.

With a loud thud, Xiao Bao kicked Yan Jinchang to the ground, then pinned him by the right hand, pressing his head firmly against the floor to restrain him.

“Quick, check on Andy,” Shu Manyun and Su Xue hurriedly helped Andy to his feet. By now, the front of Andy’s white shirt was stained with a large, glaring patch of blood.

“Andy… Andy…”

“Are you alright?” Shu Manyun and Su Xue called out anxiously.

“I’m fine, just a bit dizzy,” Andy replied.

Hui turned to Shu Manyun for instructions. “Director Shu, what should we do now?”

“Arrest Yan Jinchang, who injured Andy. Keep a close watch on Wang Bing and Jin Zhao. Call the police immediately and wait for them to handle the three,” Shu Manyun said, furrowing her brows in anger.

Hui’s eyes swept over Wang Bing and Jin Zhao. Jin Zhao looked utterly defeated, while Wang Bing raised his hands in a gesture of cooperation, signaling that Hui need not use force.

“Meeting adjourned. Everyone else return to your posts. This matter is settled here. I will have Security post a notice shortly,” Shu Manyun calmly addressed the company’s other executives.

Many silently nodded in approval—facing crisis without fear and maintaining control of the situation, Shu Manyun proved her capability.

Shu Manyun and Su Xue supported Andy as they headed downstairs, with Hui and Xiao Bao following behind, escorting Wang Bing, Yan Jinchang, and Jin Zhao.

“What’s going on? Secretary An…” Captain Cen Dachao and several security guards hurried over, alarmed.

“It’s alright, Captain Cen. Assign some guards to watch Yan Jinchang, Wang Bing, and the others. We’ll take Andy to the hospital first. The police will arrive shortly to take the three away,” Shu Manyun instructed.

“Understood. Xiao Li, gather a few men to bring Yan and the others to the security office for guarding,” Cen Dachao nodded.

Suddenly, two vans sped toward the company entrance, accelerating as they approached before screeching to a halt. A dozen or so burly men with fierce expressions poured out.

“Director Shu, be careful. Retreat inside the building first,” Hui warned, stepping forward with Xiao Bao, both on high alert.

These men were no friends—they were Wang Bing’s younger brother Wang Jun’s men. Upon receiving his brother’s message, Wang Jun immediately gathered his thugs and rushed to Tianxiang Company.

Shu Manyun and her group retreated inside, while Xiao Li and others guarded the three suspects. Cen Dachao grabbed his walkie-talkie and urgently called out, “Everyone, bring your gear to the company gate, quickly!”

“Who are you? What are you doing?” Hui shouted.

“Attack! Smash them!” Wang Jun bellowed, and his men charged forward wielding weapons.

Though not as skilled as Ye Fei, Hui and Xiao Bao were professional bodyguards capable of handling several attackers barehanded. They blocked most of the thugs, but two or three slipped around to attack Shu Manyun’s group. Cen Dachao and another free guard had to hold them off.

However, Cen Dachao and the other guard were no match for three armed thugs. Just as the situation became dire, Ye Fei arrived back at the company from school.

Before even stepping out of the car, Ye Fei saw the commotion unfolding.

“Master, charge in!” Ye Fei urged.

“There’s a fight up ahead! You should just walk over,” the driver said, preparing to park at a distance.

“Drive up! I’m a cop here to arrest them,” Ye Fei said, improvising to persuade the driver to speed forward.

The van screeched forward, barely stopping before Ye Fei jumped out and sprinted into the fray.

Boom!

Ye Fei struck fiercely, every move targeting vital points.

Snap!

In moments, two thugs lay unconscious or incapacitated. One thug shifted his focus, swinging a machete at Ye Fei.

“You’re not worth dying for,” Ye Fei sneered.

He grabbed a thug and shoved him aside, stepping in front.

The machete sliced straight into another thug’s head, blood spraying as the man convulsed violently, his brain shattered. He collapsed, twitching helplessly, near death.

Taking advantage of the moment, Ye Fei kicked the attacking thug squarely in the chest, sending him flying. Broken ribs pierced his lung.

With four down, Hui and Xiao Bao’s burden lightened considerably.

Seeing Hui and Xiao Bao holding their own, Ye Fei glanced at Andy’s blood-stained shirt and frowned, moving to check on him.

“Ye Fei, don’t hesitate! If you don’t act, there’s no chance,” Wang Bing shouted. Seizing a moment when his guards were distracted, he suddenly lunged, aiming to seize Shu Manyun or Su Xue as hostages.

Whizz!

Ye Fei reacted swiftly, firing an iron nail that pierced Wang Bing’s palm.

“Ah!” Wang Bing screamed in pain, as a guard quickly restrained his hands.

Ye Fei’s face darkened as he approached.

“How is Andy? How did he get hurt?” Ye Fei asked, carefully examining him.

He found that Andy’s forehead had a wound but no life-threatening injuries. Nonetheless, a hospital visit was necessary to rule out concussion or other trauma.

“Ye Fei, you arrived just in time. Today could have been dangerous,” Su Xue exclaimed with relief.

Ye Fei gave the three women a reassuring look. “Don’t worry. I’m here now. I’ll take care of these guys quickly so we can get Andy to the hospital.”

With Ye Fei, a seasoned combatant, and two professional bodyguards, subduing the attackers was effortless. Soon, all the men lay incapacitated.

Stepping on Wang Jun’s foot, Ye Fei said, “Aren’t you Wang Manager’s younger brother? I haven’t sought you out yet, but you’ve come looking for trouble yourself.”

With a snap, Ye Fei crushed one of Wang Jun’s hand bones.

“Xiao Li, Captain Cen, these men are in your hands now. Please watch over them and hand them to the police. I need to get Andy to the hospital,” Ye Fei said.

“No problem, Ye Fei. You go take Secretary An to the hospital. I’ll keep an eye on these scumbags—nobody’s getting away,” Xiao Li assured him.

Ye Fei nodded and, with Shu Manyun and the others, got into a car to take Andy to the hospital.

No sooner had they left than the police arrived, led by a familiar and beautiful officer, Zhao Dan. She personally headed the team that took all the criminals back to the station.
