Release Announcement (Updated)

Ahem… The book will be officially launched at midnight on May 1st. I’m giving you all a heads-up in advance, even though it’s only midday now—hehe.

Sigh, while other authors pen their thoughts for the launch, here I am, simply posting a launch notice. The difference couldn’t be clearer!

Up to this point, “tragic” doesn’t even begin to describe the subscription numbers. Honestly, I have no idea how many of you have followed along this far.

This book is launching with zero recommendations. I can’t help but feel disheartened, but since I’m not a big name, it’s only natural that without good results, there’s no push from the platform. Besides, there are simply too many books in this category… So, sob, I still feel rather sad.

This story has reached 170,000 words so far, and there are two Guardian-level supporters. I want to express my deepest gratitude to these Guardians for their support, as well as to all the generous readers who have tipped me—thank you all. I won’t name everyone individually here.

Important things are worth saying three times!

There is absolutely no filler in this book; whenever I hit a bottleneck in the story, I spend a long time working through it just to make sure everything is as good as it can be.

I am simply a storyteller, hoping more people will come to love what I write.

I believe that in time, this book will reach even more readers!

Enough about that—let’s talk about bonus chapter requirements (though, honestly, with so few people following along, I doubt there will be any…).

The plan is to update with 10,000 words tomorrow, but that depends on how things go.

Before 6 PM, there will be two chapters released at midnight on May 1st, and another at noon. If the first-day subscriptions exceed 500 before 6 PM, I’ll release the remaining chapters as well.

1) If tips surpass 10,000 coins, I’ll add an extra chapter (if I can’t do it immediately, I’ll owe it—guaranteed to make up within a week).
2) For every 200 recommendation votes received in a day, I’ll add an extra chapter (no upper limit, to be fulfilled within the same week).
3) Here’s an ambitious one—just in case! If first-day subscriptions surpass 1,000, I’ll add five extra chapters that very day, totaling 10,000 words.

Honestly, I think I’d be quite satisfied if we break 100 first-day subscriptions… sob…
