Ye Junlin shouted again and again, struggling to control his emotions.

“Brother Ye, in seven days I’ll go with you. Even if it means facing mountains of blades and seas of fire, I, Ye Chuan, will go with you. We must rescue Xiaoya,” Ye Chuan said, coming to Ye Junlin’s side, his tone unwavering.

“Brother Junlin, and me, Ye Miaoran,” Miaoran’s resolute voice echoed in Junlin’s ear. “I also want to go with you to save Xiaoya.”

Hearing this, Ye Junlin turned his gaze toward Ye Chuan and Ye Miaoran, feeling deeply moved within.

“Ye Chuan, Miaoran, thank you both. To have the two of you as friends in this life is more than worth it,” Junlin said, gently patting the siblings on their shoulders.

“Let’s go, Ye Chuan, Miaoran. Let’s head to the Pill Treasure Pavilion,” he added softly.

“To the Pill Treasure Pavilion? Brother Ye, tell us—what are we going there for?” asked Ye Chuan and Ye Miaoran, both looking at Junlin with curiosity. “Are you planning to buy cultivation pills?”

“Uh, Ye Chuan, I want to purchase some ingredients for refining Essence Cultivation Pills.”

“Brother Ye, why do you want to buy ingredients for Essence Cultivation Pills? Don’t tell me you’re planning to refine them yourself?” Ye Chuan responded.

“That’s right. Is there a problem?” Junlin replied.

“Brother Ye, don’t kid around. To refine Essence Cultivation Pills, you need to be at least a one-star junior alchemist. You know how rare that talent is—one in a million might have the gift. If you could really refine Essence Cultivation Pills, then I’d say I could follow you to a life of luxury,” Ye Chuan laughed, dismissing Junlin’s words as mere jest.

“Alright, Ye Chuan, actually, this trip to the Pill Treasure Pavilion is to see if there’s any way to neutralize the Nightshade Orchid toxin in Uncle Fu’s dantian,” Chu Yang added.

“Brother Ye, so that’s what it’s for?” Ye Chuan continued, “I heard that recently a one-star senior alchemist arrived at the Pill Treasure Pavilion, someone named Fang Jingshan. If we could meet Master Fang, maybe we could really find something useful.”

Ye Chuan’s words came in gentle tones as he followed Junlin. Upon hearing this, Junlin’s eyes brightened noticeably.

“Oh? A one-star senior alchemist?” Junlin murmured, quickening his pace.

Yingying had said that to cure the Nightshade Orchid toxin in Uncle Fu’s dantian, some rare medicinal ingredients would be needed. If Fang Jingshan was willing to help, their chances of obtaining those ingredients would rise considerably.

Junlin’s mind was racing, and soon they arrived before the Pill Treasure Pavilion. Junlin gazed at the grand and imposing structure before him. The signboard, forged from pure gold, gleamed brilliantly under the sunlight.

He couldn’t help but exhale a deep breath. There was no denying the Pill Treasure Pavilion’s wealth.

In the Empire of Flaming Sun, the Pill Treasure Pavilion was an enormous power, with branches in nearly every city. Here, all kinds of pills and precious rare treasures were sold.

“Well, well, isn’t this Ye Junlin?” Just as Junlin reached the entrance, a voice dripping with mockery rang out nearby.

“Ye Muchen? Ye Jingyue? It’s you two?” Junlin’s expression darkened instantly as he saw the two figures approaching.

Junlin had never expected to run into the bothersome Ye Muchen and Ye Jingyue right when he arrived. With Xiaoya kidnapped, Junlin was already in a foul mood. Now, seeing these two, his fists clenched tightly.

“Haha, Ye Junlin, you loser. This is the Pill Treasure Pavilion. Do you think someone as lowly as you has any right to be here?” Ye Jingyue sneered. “Oh, I suppose you must have heard I’m here to buy that Dragon Scale Grass and got anxious, right? But even if you’re desperate, there’s nothing you can do. Someone like you could never afford it anyway.”

Ye Jingyue’s contemptuous words poured out nonstop.

“Ye Muchen, Ye Jingyue, tell me honestly—is it you who sent someone to kidnap my sister, Ye Xiaoya?” Junlin’s eyes locked onto the two, his voice loud and demanding.

His question left Muchen and Jingyue momentarily stunned.

“Oh? Ye Junlin, why would you ask that?” Jingyue replied.

“Hahaha, Ye Junlin, really? Are you telling me your Xiaoya’s been kidnapped? How delightful! Truly delightful!” he laughed crazily. “Ye Junlin, if you ask me, it serves your sister right—being the sibling of a loser like you.”

Muchen and Jingyue burst into wild laughter, as if possessed.

Hearing their laughter, Junlin’s brows furrowed tightly, his expression turning grim.

“Ye Jingyue, Ye Muchen, you’d better watch your mouths, or don’t blame me for what happens next,” Junlin roared, his rage reaching its peak.
