Tong Zhenzhen wrapped herself in a thin blanket, preparing to patrol Jun Lengche's home and see if there was any way to provoke him.

That bastard! He’d made her miserable, and she would never let him get away with it.

She was nothing like her mother, who quietly endured any grievances. She firmly believed in “an eye for an eye.”

Whenever she thought of her mother, her heart felt as if it had been pierced by countless steel needles, the wound never healed and bleeding anew. Over a month ago, her only family—her mother—had thrown herself into the sea.

The Jun family could not escape responsibility for her mother’s death.

She cast another fierce glance at Jun Lengche, who was still sleeping soundly.

This beast in human clothing had ruined her innocence, yet slept so sweetly and peacefully. One day, she would make him lose sleep whenever he thought of her.

In her view, even if the drug had special effects, if he were truly a gentleman, he would have found a way to restrain himself—especially since he was a doctor. How could he be so easily controlled by medication?

She would make him a laughingstock!

Her gaze fell on the thin blanket draped across his waist, and a mischievous smile crept onto her lips. She walked over and gently lifted the blanket.

Damn, the insatiable bastard! That thing was standing upright! Her face flushed red at the sight, and she almost wished she could find something to cut off that filthy appendage.

Fortunately, she managed to restrain herself.

If she hurt him, she might not escape the law’s retribution herself.

Weighing her options, she turned and left the bedroom, which still reeked of the cloying scent of passion.

Taking a life wasn’t the highest form of revenge; making someone wish they were dead was.

Tong Zhenzhen walked into his walk-in closet, opened the door, and saw neatly arranged clothes. His wardrobe was truly monotonous, only black and white.

All the clothes were sorted by season, arranged like soldiers awaiting inspection.

Tch, what an obsessive-compulsive man! Tong Zhenzhen’s eyes gleamed as she thought of a way to annoy Jun Lengche.

She first picked a black collared T-shirt and wrapped herself in it, then rummaged for a long time before finally finding a pair of tailored shorts. On her, they became calf-length pants due to the difference in height. To cinch the waist, she used one of his silver-gray ties as a belt.

Taking a few articles of clothing was nothing. Tong Zhenzhen began her rampage. Like a mischievous child, she pulled down all the hanging, neatly folded clothes onto the floor. She happily stomped around the pile, imagining how furious he would be.

Hmph! Beast, you dared to steal my innocence, let’s see how you handle this! After she had crumpled his clothes to her satisfaction, her gloom eased a little.

But that was just the beginning. She found a red permanent marker in the house and started scribbling wildly on the walls, writing shocking words like “Beast.”

Besides venting her anger, Tong Zhenzhen hoped to make Jun Lengche think she was still the impulsive little girl she used to be, so he would drop his guard. Only by letting him underestimate her could she surprise him.

After reviewing her “masterpiece,” she took a hundred yuan bill from Jun Lengche’s wallet as travel expenses.

She would definitely return! Standing in the entryway, Tong Zhenzhen pursed her lips, surveying the chaotic house with a secret satisfaction. She opened the front door, lifted her chin, braced her trembling legs, and strode out.

Like a victorious soldier after battle, Tong Zhenzhen excitedly pressed the elevator button, then couldn’t help snapping her fingers.

Hmm, what was that sound? Just as she was basking in triumph, Tong Zhenzhen heard something behind her. She turned and nearly screamed, “Ghost!”

She stumbled back, pressing herself against the wall beside the elevator. She saw the door of Jun Lengche’s neighbor’s apartment crack open, revealing a pale figure. Long hair draped over her shoulders and fringe covered her large eyes. Her lips were ghostly white, her body thin, a girl in white appeared silently.

Oh, it’s a human. Seeing it was only a pale-skinned girl, Tong Zhenzhen’s anxiety eased, and she berated herself for being so jumpy.

The girl looked surprised to see Tong Zhenzhen coming out of the apartment. “You… you came out of Brother Che’s home? What’s your relationship?”

From the girl’s nervous expression and question, Tong Zhenzhen guessed she was probably one of those girls infatuated with the handsome neighbor.

Indeed, when she was around sixteen, hadn’t she also been easily attracted to pretty faces? Otherwise, she wouldn’t have suffered so much.

Thinking of her own misfortune, Tong Zhenzhen felt a surge of sympathy.

She couldn’t let this girl repeat her mistakes. Someone as cold and unfeeling as Jun Lengche wasn’t right for this girl, and besides, he surely had many secrets.

With that thought, Tong Zhenzhen decided to tarnish Jun Lengche’s glowing image in the girl’s mind.

She put on a flirtatious smile. “Little sister, I’m not what you think. We met at a bar last night, and this jerk dragged me back here. Turns out the cold ones are the most depraved. Last night was quite a wild ride—he’s a real ladies’ man. Stay away from him, girl.”

Her words seemed to have an effect. Tong Zhenzhen saw the girl bite her lips, a hint of color returning to her pale lips, her eyes full of sorrow.

But was it just her imagination? Tong Zhenzhen thought she saw a flash of venom in the girl’s eyes when she lowered her head.

“He’s not like that. Brother Che is not that kind of person,” the girl insisted stubbornly.

“You can’t judge a book by its cover. Girls like you are the easiest to be fooled by these seemingly upright men who are rotten inside,” Tong Zhenzhen warned kindly.

“Don’t you dare speak ill of Brother Che!” The girl suddenly raised her head, her large eyes brimming with tears.

Tong Zhenzhen felt as though she were bullying her.

Clearly, this girl was deeply infatuated. Tong Zhenzhen shook her head and spread her hands. “Suit yourself. If you don’t believe me, you can go in and see for yourself.”

Last night’s passion had left plenty of her lipstick marks and scratch marks on Jun Lengche. Tong Zhenzhen had seen them clearly.

If she was going to help, she might as well see it through. Once the girl saw such a steamy scene, she’d surely wake up. Tong Zhenzhen thought so.

Just then, the elevator arrived, and Tong Zhenzhen hurried inside. She waved at the girl. “Men always think with their lower half. Take care, girl.”

The elevator doors closed, and in the mirrored surface she caught a glimpse of the girl’s expression transforming in an instant—gone was the weakness, replaced by a face twisted with jealousy and hatred. Luckily, Tong Zhenzhen didn’t see it, or she would have been frightened.

The girl stood lost in thought for a while, then a sly smile appeared on her lips. Turning, she saw Jun Lengche’s open door and rushed straight inside.
