11. The Rabbit Bites
What the hell? How dare he bully me? Tong Zhenzhen spun around in fury and immediately found herself caught in a pair of eyes as deep and ancient as a dark pool.
Jun Lengche! Tong Zhenzhen was so angry that her teeth itched. "Bastard, let me go!"
The Jun family found her so quickly—was it because of him? He clearly was the one at fault, so why should she be the one humiliated?
"Didn't anyone teach you to respect your elders?" Jun Lengche's face was as cold as frost as he questioned her.
Tong Zhenzhen sneered coldly and, without a word, bit down hard on the back of his hand.
So this was how one vented hatred—by drinking their blood and eating their flesh! The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth, but unlike before, it did not make her dizzy; instead, it brought an exhilarating sense of relief.
Jun Lengche frowned.
"You crazy girl! Let go of him!" Jun matriarch rushed over to pull Tong Zhenzhen away. When she couldn't pry her loose, she resorted to force.
"Jianjun, get your mother off her!" Commander Jun frowned deeply; it was outrageous for the elders to be fighting with the younger generation.
Before Jun shizhang could intervene, a shadow dashed in and grabbed the Jun matriarch from behind. "Grandma, what are you doing?!"
Although her back ached, the thrill of biting Jun Lengche kept Tong Zhenzhen hooked—after seven years of pent-up resentment, she finally found an outlet and was not about to let it go easily.
Still, she secretly admired Jun Lengche’s pain tolerance; she had bitten down with all her might.
"Separate them all!" Commander Jun roared like thunder.
Jun shizhang hurried over to mediate, pleading with the two. "Xiao Che, let go." "Miss Tong, please stop biting."
Jun Lengche finally released his hand.
Pfft, who knew if this bastard’s blood was poisonous? Unable to withstand the blood’s pungency any longer, Tong Zhenzhen let go and spat out the blood in her mouth. Seeing the circle of teeth marks on Jun Lengche’s hand, bleeding through, she felt satisfied.
This was what it meant to settle a blood debt with blood!
Tong Zhenzhen straightened and took a step back, coldly surveying everyone present. Her gaze settled on Qin Xiangyang, who was holding the Jun matriarch, and her heart warmed slightly—it was he who had come to her aid. Though the Jun matriarch was old, her body was robust and her grip heavy.

"Zhenzhen, are you alright?" Qin Xiangyang asked anxiously.
Tong Zhenzhen smiled faintly and shook her head.
Her smile, however, struck a strange note of sadness in Qin Xiangyang’s eyes. He regretted bringing up her cousin and her situation yesterday. Today, if not for his father, Jun shizhang, calling to ask why Commander Jun wanted Tong Zhenzhen at their home, he wouldn’t have arrived in time to help her.
Seeing Tong Zhenzhen being bullied—even by his own family—was unbearable to him.
"Jun Lengche, I only know to give tenfold respect when respect is given to me. Your family is amusing, thinking I forced myself on you. If you’re truly so fragile, you want your family to fight for you?"I'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
