Chapter 60: Can't You Exercise Some Restraint?
Panting, she whispered, "They're gone. I don't want to stay here." She tried to shake off his grip on her wrist. The cramped booth was already tight enough, but with both of them crammed inside, it felt even smaller and more confined. The entire space was saturated with an ambiguous, seductive atmosphere that made her dizzy and on the verge of losing control.
"For now, this is the safest place," he said, gripping her wrist tighter.
"No," Tong Xiaoman struggled, flustered and panicked.
"Don't move." Nalan Che trapped her between the wall and his own chest. As she kept struggling, rubbing against his body, how could he possibly restrain himself any longer?
He suddenly lowered his head and captured her still-panting lips with a kiss, his palm pressing against her waist to push her even closer to his body.
"Mm..." Tong Xiaoman's eyes widened in sudden disbelief as she stared at the handsome face expanding in front of her.
This beast! Even at a time of life and death, he was actually in the mood for romance.
She placed her hands against his chest, trying to push him away, but the more she resisted, the more frantic his kiss became, and his hands began to wander restlessly over her body.
This pervert was going way too far.
Tong Xiaoman suddenly opened her mouth and bit down hard on his lip. A trace of coppery blood immediately seeped across his mouth.
He finally pulled back from her lips, though his burning gaze still locked onto her fiercely. He lightly licked the blood from his lip, an action that possessed an indescribable wickedness and sexiness.
Tong Xiaoman forced her gaze away, trying to push him off, but was stopped dead by his next words: "If you keep moving, I won't be responsible for what I do."
Her body instantly stiffened. She knew he was a man of action—whatever he said, he would definitely do.
Not daring to move anymore, she glared at him with bright, watery eyes. "You're going too far! Even at a time like this, you don't forget to take advantage of me."
"I warned you not to move, but you wouldn't listen. You had to go and seduce me," Nalan Che said, looking remarkably innocent.
Tong Xiaoman was furious. "You're the one acting on impulse! When did I ever seduce you?" What kind of person was this? How could he possibly blame her?
"If you hadn't seduced me, would I have lost control?"
Nalan Che gave her a cold glance. It was entirely her fault; he had been keeping himself under control just fine until she started rubbing and wriggling against him. That was what made him lose his grip.
Tong Xiaoman was speechless, her eyes practically blazing as she stared at him, wishing she could set him on fire and burn him to ashes.
She had seen shameless people before, but he was without a doubt the most utterly shameless of them all. The rigid bulge pressing against her lower body hadn't subsided yet, making her heart skip a beat over and over again.
"Little thing, if you keep looking at me like that, this fire isn't going to go down." Call him a pervert if she liked, but he loved this expression on her face—it gave him a special kind of thrill and a wild urge.
He quickly buried his face in the crook of her neck, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist. His body swayed just a fraction, unable to fully resist the impulse to thrust into her.
Even through their clothes, she could feel him, and her face was now so burning hot she could have cooked an egg on it.
Enduring the urge, she let out a low growl, "Can't you fucking exercise some self-control?"
"Shh. Just let me hold you quietly for a moment, just a moment." Even he was surprised by his own desire; it was something he had never experienced before.
He must have owed her in a past life to be so completely thrown off balance by her.
