Chapter 45: I Won't Dare Next Time
A quiet warmth slowly permeated the silent room.
Beneath his massage, which was not entirely practiced yet surprisingly skillful, her pain gradually subsided. She had thought she would not be able to sleep, but little by little, her eyelids grew heavy, and eventually, her consciousness blurred. The corners of her lips curved upward in a quiet smile. She truly never expected that a man as lofty, proud, and arrogant as him could possess such delicate consideration.
To be honest, he was actually a really wonderful person.

After the boat docked, Nalan Che hesitated for a long while inside the cabin before slowly making his way out.
Su Ji, who was keeping watch on the deck, heard footsteps and turned around. Upon seeing Nalan Che's outfit, his jaw dropped in utter astonishment, his expression resembling that of someone who had just swallowed a raw egg.
There stood His Young Master, wearing a baseball cap pulled down extremely low, a pair of black sunglasses that concealed half his face, and a stylish, casual outfit.
He looked precisely like a major celebrity trying to go undercover in public.
Although Nalan Che's gaze was hidden, the fierce and volatile aura radiating from him was palpable. "What are you looking at? Look again, and I'll gouge your eyes out."
The corners of Su Ji's mouth twitched. Forcing back his laughter, he asked, "Young Master, are you certain you want to go out looking like that?"
Wouldn't an outfit like that only draw more attention?
"Hmph." Nalan Che let out a cold snort, too lazy to explain himself. He jumped off the boat and strode toward a convenience store near the pier.
Naturally, he had dressed this way for two reasons: first, to evade his grandfather's pursuit, and second, to save face when purchasing *that* particular item.
Su Ji watched as Nalan Che's figure quickly vanished into the crowd, the corners of his lips turning up slightly. *Young Master, is dressing like that really a good idea?*
This was a bustling and famous harbor, with numerous convenience stores nearby, though the closest ones were currently packed with customers.
Nalan Che pulled his cap down even further and stepped into a nearby convenience store. Sure enough, his bizarre attire immediately attracted the stares of many people.
Since this was a port terminal where major celebrities frequently passed through, the female clerk's eyes lit up the moment she laid eyes on him.
Even though he wore a hat and sunglasses, his tall, slender physique, the handsome lower half of his face, and the naturally domineering yet striking aura he exuded were enough to instantly capture anyone's soul.
"Whoa, so handsome!" The clerk stared at him, her eyes turning to literal hearts as she stealthily reached into her pocket for her phone, intending to snap a picture of him.
She opened the camera app, aimed it at him, and couldn't help gasping in awe. He was drop-dead gorgeous from every single 360-degree angle, with not a single flaw.
Drolling slightly, she raised her finger to press the shutter button when, suddenly, with a sharp *thwack*, a hand slammed down over her phone.
The target of her secret photography had somehow appeared right in front of her, pinning her phone down with his palm.
Such speed—it was practically supernatural.
The female clerk was frightened out of her wits.
Nalan Che leaned down, his gaze behind the dark lenses piercing her like icicles as he stared her down. "Do you want me to call the police?"
The clerk's face instantly paled, sheer terror filling her eyes. She shook her head frantically, on the verge of tears from fright. "No, sir! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Please let me off, I won't ever do it again!"
"Hmph. Vanish within ten seconds, and don't let me catch you in my sight," a demonic command echoed softly in her ear.
